¡¡¡¡he mechanics of
a pad-mounted SF6 switch includes
bus bar chamber, loadbreak switch,
cable chamber, operating mechanism,
interlocking mechanism and meter chamber.
¡¡¡¡Bus Bar
Chamber
The Bus Bar Chamber is located on
the top of the cabinet. In the Bus
Bar Chamber, the main bus bars are
connected together, extending over
the switch cabinet.
¡¡¡¡Loadbreak Switch
A 3-position loadbreak switch is located
in the switch chamber. The shell of
loadbreak is casted by epoxy resin
and equipped with a SF6 gas pressure
gauge, a convenient gadget for checking
if the gas pressure is within the
safety range.
¡¡¡¡Cable Chamber
The loadbreak switch has a spacious
cable chamber for easy access for
connecting cables and assemble fuse,
arrestor, CT and other components.
As a standard feature, the door of
the chamber has a viewing window and
an interlocking device. The lower
cable chamber is equipped with a sealed
cover and the cable-tongue with a
supporting pole. Both lower portion
of the chamber and the door can be
removed for assembling cables.
¡¡¡¡Operating Mechanism, Interlocking
Mechanism and Meter Chamber
The control chamber contains the controlling
interlock. The meter chamber contains
the spring mechanism of the position
indicator and the mechanical interlocking
device can also be equipped with auxiliary
contact point, opening coil, emergency
opening coil, electric capacity electricity
indicator, key-lock, motor mechanism
device, control circuit, meter, relay
and other more accessories.
¡¡¡¡Interlock
When the loadbreak switch is closed,
the grounding switch is prohibited
from closing and the lower door cannot
be opened. When the grounding switch
is closed, the loadbreak is prohibited
from closing. Only after the grounding
switch is closed, can the door be
opened. When both the grounding switch
and cabinet door are closed can loadbreak
switch be closed. When the fuse of
any phase component melts, the mechanical
assembly will open the switch. Under
this condition, the loadbreak switch
should be closed.

¡¡¡¡In a loop power
supplying system, the pad-mounted
circuit-breaker is mainly used as
the input of main and auxiliary source.
The middle cabinet of double source
system includes the meter chamber,
junction connector chamber, Loadbreak
switch chamber, circuit-breaker chamber
and the cable chamber.
¡¡¡¡We are able to provide CT, PT, arrestor,
grounding switch, relay device for
over-current and short-circuit according
to meet customer¡¯s requirements. The
breaker and loadbreak can be interlocked.
A loadbreak with motor operating mechanic,
the pad-mounted circuit-break can
be equipped with communications gears
for tele¡ªmetering, tele-control and
telecommunication.

¡¡¡¡The newly released FLN36-12D
SF6 loadbreak switch for high voltage system
incorporates BKE¡¯s in-depth experience and
innovation in its design. It is most suitable
for use in both new construction and re-enforcement
of urban & rural area distribution systems.
This is a 12 KV indoor switchgear, with
SF6 gas as the arch-extinction and insulating
medium. The switchgear comes with a compact
chamber with 3 position closing/opening/grounding
positions.
¡¡¡¡BKS has
thoroughly tested each and very switchgear
individually and thoroughly, ensuring all
technical standards are in compliance with
or higher than the requirements in GB3804
and GB16926. The salient features are compact,
light- weight, low maintenance, longevity,
safe to operation, durable mechanical structure
and economical.
¡¡¡¡
¡¡¡¡The main circuit
of loadbreak switch and its major electric
apparatus are sealed in an insulting shell
casted with APG technology. The shell is
highly insulated and is durable against
all adverse environmental conditions. The
insulating shell is made of two independent
shells and is filled with 0.045 MPA SF6
gas. The lower insulation cover takes a
protective measure£¬so that the high-pressure
gas can be released from the protective
exploding film when the arch-extinguishing
fault is un-detected. In addition, the load
break switch has closing, opening and grounding,
three positions.
¡¡¡¡Arch-extinguishing
principle
¡¡¡¡The loadbreak switch uses SF6 as the
insulating and arch-extinguishing medium
when the loadbreak switch opens. The
arch will extinct by the magnetic field
produced by the permanent magnet.
¡¡¡¡Operating Mechanism
¡¡¡¡The loadbreak switch and its combining
electric apparatus have two types of
spring-operated mechanism: the K mechanism
and the A mechanism. The loadbreak switch
with K mechanism is mainly used in coil-in-out
unit and those with A mechanism are
mainly used in transformer protection.
¡¡¡¡Interlock in the Loadbreak Switch
¡¡¡¡When the Loadbreak switch is closed
the grounding switch is prohibited from
closing and the lower door can¡¯t be
opened. When the grounding switch is
closed, the loadbreak is prohibited
from closing. When both the grounding
switch and cabinet door be closed, loadbreak
switch can be closed.
¡¡¡¡When the fuse of any phase in the
component electric apparatus opens,
the loadbreak switch will be opened.
In the particular situation, the loadbreak
switch should not be closed manually,
nor kept in the close position. |
